For AC/DC conversion, COMECA Power offers diode or thyristor-controlled rectifiers for all applications, in power ranges from a few kW to multi-MW.
Altys and RF products are particularly suited for low power requirements and integrate battery-charging management. Using a single-phase or three-phase supply, they generally consist of a transformer, mixed bridge and filtering system. They are equipped with dedicated control electronics.
Our full bridge diode rectifiers are designed to meet requirements for high-power DC supply (up to several MW) without the need for control of output values. This is the typical case of rail traction, where we recommend different topologies according to the application.
For DC energy supply, our thyristor rectifier solutions are particularly suited for high power and/or strong current needs (up to several MW and/or over 60kA).
These rectifiers are controlled by electronics systems developed by COMECA Power. They can be attached to programmable logic controllers (PLC) and touch-sensitive screens to provide automatic control and local MMI (Man-Machine Interface) and remote communications functions at a precision level from 1% to several ppm, depending on need.
For all these solutions, COMECA Power provides the entire range of services, from design, component sizing, assembly, in-factory inspection and on-site fine-tuning.
